About CasaReyna CreativeHub

CasaReyna CreativeHub has been a work in progress for over a year and represents the fulfillment of a lifelong dream. From an early age, my parents instilled in me and my siblings a deep love for the arts, education, and culture. Music was always present in our family, beginning in the homes of my grandparents. Playing instruments, singing, creating art, writing, and bringing community together has always been an integral part of my family.

My grandfather, my mother’s father, was a lifelong musician who played beautiful music by ear on the violin, mandolin, and other instruments. Musicians from across the Rio Grande Valley would regularly gather at my grandparents’ home to play together, filling the space with creativity and connection. That love of music was passed down through the generations. 

My mother, Elida Reyna Sanchez, played the piano, sang, and also had the gift of playing by ear. She had a profound appreciation for the arts in all forms—music, literacy, and cultural expression—and she was a constant source of encouragement and inspiration to everyone around her, especially me. Together with my father, she believed deeply in celebrating and uplifting our community and spreading her joyful message to them.

CasaReyna CreativeHub is more than a space for creatives—it is a welcoming home where individuals of all backgrounds are encouraged to explore their potential and be inspired to become all they can be. Within these walls and throughout the beautiful yards, creativity is nurtured through support, encouragement, and shared purpose, allowing that joy to ripple outward into the greater community.

This space is lovingly dedicated to my mother, Elida Reyna Sanchez. As you enter, please know that you are home. Because of her influence and legacy, I am fulfilling my lifelong dream—and here, you can begin fulfilling yours as well.
